Clarence Edward Tope, son of Selam Howard
Topeand Emeratta Selina Porter,was born 14 March 1897 in Athens Co.,
Ohio, and died 19 June 1963 [note 2]. He married Margaret Gooden on 19
June 1915.
Clarence and Margaret had four children: - Clarence Edward Tope was
born 17 November 1916 in Ohio, and died in Spokane, Washington on 19
January 1993 [note 3]. He married Blanch Irene Bushman in 1939. Her
surname prior to adoption by the Bushmans was Anderson. Irene was born
8 July 1922 and died on 19 January 1993 [note 4].
- Millard R. Tope was born 17 February 1919 in Ohio, and died 14
June 2008 in Bend, Deschutes Co., Oregon. He married Iris Collings on
14 August 1942. Iris was born 4 May 1919.
Clarence and Iris had two children;
- Raymond Tope whose son, Marc Ray Tope, was born 11 October
1965 and died 14 October 1965.
- Terri K. Tope.
- Wanda May Tope married Jack Chirrick.
- Clarence Emerson Tope was born in 1921 and died in 1995 in
Phoenix, Maricope Co., Arizona.
