Marshield, Athens Co., Ohio [note 1], and died 3 November 1965
in the
Veterans' Hospital, Marion, Indiana. He married Cleta
Izone HESS, daughter of Seymour
HESS and Charlotte COBBUM,
on 19 February 1918 in St.
Joseph, Berrien Co., Michigan.
She was born 19
April 1900 in Goshen, Elkhart Co., Indiana, and died on 11
February 1978 in Bristol, Goshen Co., Indiana. Roy and
Cleta are buried in Hess Cemetery, Goshen, Elkhart County,
Indiana [note 2].
Children of Roy and Cleta are:
- Edward TOPE was born on 16 March 1918 and died on 17
March 1918 in Goshen, Elkhart County, Indiana.
- Thelma Kathleen TOPE was born on 2 May 1920 and died
on 20 August 1924 in Goshen, Elkhart Co., Indiana.
- Gayle
Elsworth TOPE was born on 30 May 1922 in
Goshen, Elkhart Co., Indiana, and died on 11 May 1947. He
married Thelma BUCHER.
