Selam Howard TOPE, son of
Thomas B. TOPE and Margaret BURRIS, was born 15 November 1860 in
Harrisville, Meigs Co., Ohio and died 22 June 1922 in Crook Colony
Co, Wyoming. He married Emeratta Selina PORTER, daughter of Jacob PORTER
and Amanda BARNES, on 22 July 1885 in Albany, Athens Co., Ohio. She was
born 20 October 1860 in Albany, Athens Co., Ohio, and died 29 October 1901 in
Colony, Crook Co., Wyoming. She is buried in Marshfield, Athens Co.,
Ohio.
After Emeratta's death, he married Anna Deborah
PORTER in April 1904 in St. Louis, Washington Co., Missouri. She was born
28 June 1872 in Ohio, and died 4 June 1940 in Belle Fourche, Butte Co.,
South Dakota. Selam and Anna are buried in Pineslope Cemetery, Butte
Co., South Dakota.
